The Play Institute is a platform for artistic research on play and its artistic, participatory and performative possibilities, developed by the Laborator Artistic Association and the Super:Serios collective.

Open Call for Artists

Duration of the School:🔴 12-30 July 🔴

Place: 🔴 Amzei Creative Corner 🔴


The Play Institute is launching a summer school dedicated to emerging artists who want to experiment by creating games based on their artistic practice.


How will it be?


🔴 Guided Workshops

2 workshops per week / 3 weeks

6 hours per workshop where you will learn to integrate elements of play into your art.

🔴 Public debates

We invite people with experience in the field for one debate a week (on Fridays) on the theme of play as an art form.

🔴 Open Laboratory Space:

Access to a workspace for the duration of the summer school to experiment and test the games created.


How to Apply:
Send us your CV, a short portfolio (3-5 works are enough) and a motivation letter (maximum 300 words) to institutuljocului@gmail.com by June 30.
We will announce the participants on July 4th.
